Meet the 2023 Lexus ES Hybrid Trim Options

Also known as the ES 300h, the ES Hybrid comes in five trim levels. The base level starts off strong with a hybrid 2.5L, four-cylinder engine with an electric motor that can produce up to 215 hp with 163 lb-ft of torque. The base model has an electric continuously variable transmission with a front-wheel-drive drivetrain. For fuel economy, drivers get an estimated 43 MPG in the city and 44 MPG on the highway.

Features for the base model include LED daytime running headlights, keyless entry, push-start ignition, a moon roof, an 8-in touchscreen, connectivity to streaming apps, and a 10-speaker sound system. Drivers also get access to the Lexus Safety System+ 2.5, which includes safety features like lane departure alert, pedestrian detection, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, and dynamic cruise control.

Luxury

The Luxury trim has all the same standard features as the base model but with optional upgrades from the first-tier trim. These features include rain-sensing wipers, power-folding side mirrors, heated and ventilated front seats, a fast-response heater, and a 17-speaker audio system. The Luxury trim also has new leather upholstery, wood-lined cabin details, ambient interior lighting, and performance campers.

Ultra Luxury

The Ultra Luxury trim has standard safety features such as a panoramic view monitor and rear pedestrian detection. A hands-free trunk, rear-door sunshades, and an upgraded 12.3-in infotainment touchscreen are all standard features as well, along with all the features from the base and Luxury trims.

F SPORT Design

The main difference between the Luxury trim and the F SPORT Design trim is the stylistic choices. The F SPORT Design trim is intentionally designed to maximize the sportiness of this sedan with exterior styling elements. However, this trim does not have performance dampers, ambient lighting, sunshades, or standard safety perks like a panoramic view monitor or rear pedestrian detection.

F SPORT Handling

The F SPORT Handling trim has all the same design elements as the previous trim, but upgrades many of the performance features to max out the capabilities of the hybrid engine. This trim includes adaptive variable suspension, performance dampers, F SPORT suspension tuning, and customized drive modes.
