What’s New in the 2023 Lexus RX?
The RX has received a full update for the 2023 model year, including updated interior and exterior designs, a top-of-the-line performance trim level, and four new engines to choose from, including a new plug-in hybrid version.
Available Engines
The base RX 350 comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine capable of producing a powerful 275 horsepower. The hybrid RX 350h has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with dual electric motors that can create 246 horsepower. The high-performance hybrid trim, the RX 500h F Sport Performance, combines a turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine with an electric motor to push out an impressive 366 horsepower.
Interior Changes
All trim levels of the Lexus RX come as two-row variants, which is a departure from previous model years. The interior has been completely redone to create a modern aesthetic, with built-in ambient lighting, wood trim, and a massive 9.8-inch touchscreen in the center console that is angled to provide ergonomic access for the driver.
Optional upgrades include an even larger 14-inch screen, built-in navigation, a heads-up display projected onto the windshield, and a premium audio system. The RX 500h F Sport Performance includes upgrades like a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear shifter, aluminum pedals, and unique F Sport seats.
