The IS 500 has two trim options this year: F SPORT Performance and F SPORT Performance Premium. Both of these trims have a 5.0L 32-valve DOHC V8 engine with dual variable valve timing and intelligence. This engine can produce 472 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque. This V8 engine can go from zero to sixty in 4.4 seconds and has a top track speed of 149 MPH.
Key performance features include paddle shifters, a G-force display, stacked quad exhaust tips, and two-piece rear aluminum rotors. These sport sedans also have F SPORT-tuned adaptive variable suspension, a Torsen® limited-slip rear differential, and Yamaha® rear performance dampers.
